Filled with purpose…
The tongue is a consuming fire… if anyone can control his tongue, he is a perfect man. What??? Writer of Proverbs says that fire is one of those things that never says – enough! (Proverbs 30:16)
Losing employment can be horrifying. Yet, I have heard many reports of those who call on God in these times of trouble who see God’s great hand of blessing in the wake of the storm.
Fired up is a passion that drives us forward or backward, not allowing us to become static and stagnant. Guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it (Proverbs 4:23). Guard what enters your eyes and ears! God gives us His Word to cleanse wrong thinking, but it takes work. Prevention is a better plan I find!
