Running With the Light

It is Fall. The colors are fading, but still magnificent! We admire great artists like Michelangelo, yet he could only semi-capture a tiny glimpse of what he saw. The supreme artist is our great Creator! His palette and detail is endless and awe inspiring!

Do all artists have a favorite color? Mine changes from time to time, yet, I suggest that the Almighty’s favorite color could be green. We, who are made in His image love to see green fields of waving grasses and budding green trees in Spring. It touches our soul with hope and a sense of peace. Green is everywhere. Even in deserts, there are dots of green sequoia cactuses and Joshua trees. It is, of course, just my opinion.

This brings to mind an often sung children’s song about God’s love for all the children of the world. I don’t sing it anymore because though God’s is boundless, we aren’t red and yellow, black and white. We are all shades and hues of one color! The color of Adam. Skin tones. Some with more intensity some with less. All loved!
